The Operational Compliance Specialist will ensure all compliance aspects of gaming operations align with regulatory requirements and internal policies. This role involves monitoring, reviewing, and reporting on compliance activities, and working closely with Tech team, Casino Ops and various departments to ensure that all technical operations meet legal and ethical standards.

Your daily tasks will be 


Regulatory Compliance:

  • Monitor and ensure compliance with all regulations related to businesses operations;
  • Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations and communicate these changes to relevant departments;
  • Prepare and submit required regulatory reports and technical documentation accurately and on time.

Internal Audits:


  • Conduct regular audits of technical systems and processes to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures;
  • Identify areas of non-compliance and work with Tech, Casino Ops and other departments to develop and implement corrective actions;
  • Establish mechanisms or innovative tools to enhance and ensure the quality of compliance with internal policies and procedures;
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all audit findings and follow-up actions.

Policy Development and Implementation:


  • Assist in the development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures;
  • Ensure that all staff are aware of and understand compliance requirements through regular training and communication;
  • Review and update policies regularly to ensure they remain current and effective.

Risk Management:

  • Identify potential compliance risks and work with the Senior Legal and Compliance Officer and Head of Legal to develop strategies to mitigate these risks;
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of risk management strategies;
  • Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for improvement.

Training and Education:

  • Develop and deliver training programs for employees on compliance-related topics;
  • Ensure that all staff are adequately trained in compliance procedures and understand their responsibilities;
  • Provide ongoing support and education to staff on compliance matters.

Incident Management:

  • Investigate and respond to compliance incidents and breaches;
  • Document incidents and report findings to the Head of Legal;
  • Implement corrective actions and monitor their effectiveness.

What we expect from you

  • Bachelor's degree from a reputable university in EU (preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Law, Finance or a related field);
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a compliance role, preferably with regulated products;
  • In-depth knowledge of technical regulations and compliance requirements related to gambling operations;
  • Thoroughness in reviewing technical documents and processes to ensure complete compliance;
  • Capability to identify technical compliance issues and develop practical solutions;
  • Ability to analyse complex regulations and determine their impact on operations, and attention to detail;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (and preferably in Estonian) for training staff and reporting to management. Additional proficiencies are an advantage;
  • Strong sense of ethics and integrity in handling sensitive technical information;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
