As a Portfolio Manager for Yolo Investments, you will oversee the Fintech assets across various fund structures and lead the process (from sourcing to closing) of new investment opportunities in the space. You will report directly to an investment Partner and work closely with the investment team and the portfolio company stakeholders.

Your daily tasks will be
Supporting portfolio companies by acting as a primary point of contact with the fund, advising on corporate governance, reporting, fundraising and other relevant activities
Coordinating recurring performance reporting by the portfolio companies
Providing the investments team insights derived from strategic and commercial analysis on the operational and financial performance of the portfolio companies
Highlighting and communicating any ongoing concerns/risks with the portfolio companies to the investments team
Connecting the portfolio companies to the Yolo Investments network by making strategic introductions
Providing input for revaluation of funds’ assets with regards to managed portfolio companies
Maintaining and developing relationships with key employees of portfolio companies
Periodic analysis and research of the general market trends and investment themes
Proactively sourcing potential new investment opportunities that are aligned with the investment strategy of the fund
Leading and coordinating the investment process (including due diligence) for new investments
Providing input and recommendations to the General Partners of the fund about investment decisions
Getting involved in various ad-hoc projects/processes typical in a venture capital fund
Representing Yolo Investments in various industry events and conferences across the world
What we expect from you
Passion for investments, entrepreneurship and venture capital
Working experience in a similar role
Working knowledge of accounting, corporate finance, fundraising and KPI tracking
Working knowledge of valuation methodologies for early-stage companies, cap table analysis and financial planning
Working knowledge and/or experience in the Fintech space (focus on digital payments, payment gateways, banking, embedded finance, regtech, banking/payments infra)
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, economics or other relevant fields
Basic understanding of legal aspects of fundraising, M&A and corporate governance
Basic understanding of various regulatory and licensing frameworks in Fintech space
Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
Ability to work on own initiative
Good work documentation practices, along with attention to detail
Analytical skills, along with the ability to work with incomplete data
Strong interpersonal skills
Excellent level of verbal and written English
