Location: Fully remote. This opportunity is open to you if you can legally work remotely from one of our home countries in Sweden, Malta, Hungary, Spain, or Poland.

What the role entails


Some of the key responsibilities of our Technical Lead will be:


- Individual contributor experienced in technology that requires minimal supervision.

- Lead the team in their technical approach, direction and execution.

- Accountable for the quality of the technical deliverables for the team.

- Scoping complex tasks, coordinating team towards solving them, and unblocking them along the way.

- Collaborate with Product Owner/Team Lead if backlog needs to be shuffled or estimated.

- Responsible for providing technical feedback and advice to dev team members.

- Conducts functional, technical analysis and design as well as technical reviews.

- Contributes to the software architecture.

- Contributes to the team and clan by sharing knowledge and experience.

- Coaches and mentors team members in the tech area.

- Stays?up-to-date?with the latest trends in the tech community to identify improvements and benefits on team/clan level.

- Create and maintain technical documentation.

- Present and demonstrate technical solutions to stakeholders.



Technical Requirements:


- 2-3 years of experience as a Software Architect or similar role.

- At least 9 years of experience in software development, with substantial experience in C# and database technologies.

- At least 2-3 years of experience in cloud development using Infrastructure as Code, particularly with AWS.

- Proficient in web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.

- Extensive knowledge and practical application of design patterns.

- Experience working with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ).

- CI/CD experience (Git, Octopus Deploy, TeamCity, Docker).

- Experience working with application metrics and performance monitoring.

- Proficient in unit testing as part of the natural development lifecycle.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken English.

- Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.

- A strong desire for continuous learning and self-improvement.



Preferences:


- Experience with SonarQube for code quality analysis.

- Experience with Grafana for monitoring and visualization.

- Experience with OpenSearch for search and analytics.

- IGaming industry experience.

- Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions within AWS.

- Experience with AWS services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, and ECS/EKS.

- Familiarity with migrating server-level services or websites to a global cloud infrastructure.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically about the long-term impact of technical decisions.

- Experience with agile methodologies and working in a DevOps environment.
