DevOps Engineering Manager

The DevOps Engineering Manager is responsible for leading the DevOps team and driving the adoption of best practices in continuous integration, continuous delivery, and infrastructure automation. This role requires a strong leader with extensive experience in DevOps practices and a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, automation, and orchestration technologies.

What You Will Do

• Lead, mentor, and develop the DevOps engineering team.
• Develop and implement the DevOps strategy aligned with the company's goals.
• Oversee the management of cloud infrastructure, ensuring reliability, security, and scalability.
• Drive the adoption of CI/CD practices to improve deployment frequency and reliability.
• Automate provisioning, configuration, and management of cloud infrastructure.
• Ensure efficient and scalable deployment pipelines for application delivery.
• Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of DevOps practices.
• Implement and maintain robust disaster recovery and backup strategies.
• Ensure compliance with security best practices and regulatory requirements.

What We're Looking For

• 8+ years of experience in DevOps or related fields, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of managing and scaling DevOps teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong background in cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Strong technical background with hands-on experience in software development and architecture.
• Experience with cloud technologies, DevOps practices, and agile methodologies.

Bonus-to-Have Skills:

• Proficiency in automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack)
