Head of Digital Marketing

Rhino Entertainment is looking for a highly analytical Head of Digital Marketing to join our expanding performance marketing function and to help lead our paid media function; namely Search, Display and Paid Social. The successful candidate will be responsible for growing brand awareness and acquiring players balancing CPAs with player values in newly regulated and pre-regulated markets. In addition, they’ll support the CRM team with campaigns/promotions that can be promoted via display/social channels to target active, lapsed + dormant players focussed on cost per reactivation and churn rates. We are a very performance-driven organisation and they’ll be expected to provide strategic direction and comfortable working in a fast-moving, start-up environment.

The Head of Digital Marketing will report directly to the Head of Marketing but work closely on a weekly basis with multiple stakeholders including external media agencies, local ‘Country Managers’ and other senior leaders in the business (inc. payments, operations, product etc) to monitor daily performance and provide updates and actionable insights to improve the marketing ROAS.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accountability for a global media budget including bid strategies + tactics to achieve KPIs
• Media plans including channel split + forecasting to acquire customers balancing CPMs + CPAs
• Programmatic Display campaigns to retain, reactivate, upsell & cross-sell players between brands
• Monthly reporting with clear, actionable insights to continually optimise ROAS
• Identify new channels, media partners and markets to drive awareness to our brands
• Liaise with Country Managers, Product + Design depts, to align marcomms to proposition
• Conduct competitor research into media strategy to improve/benchmark our offering
• UX/CRO - monitor and provide strategic input into the user journey + testing roadmap
• Ensure creative abides with regulatory and cultural sensitivities to maximise efficiency

Note: This role can be based from our lively office in Malta (Hybrid) or fully remote.

Requirements

Qualities we are looking for:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in digital marketing, either with clients or agencies
• Having experience in the iGaming industry or working with online casino platforms is a definite plus
• Expertise in collaborating with and managing external media agencies to establish marketing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Exceptional skills in analysing numerical data, extracting actionable insights, and creating comprehensive reports
• Highly proficient in using Google Analytics, Paid Search, Programmatic (Display), and Paid Social media
• In-depth knowledge of the latest digital marketing capabilities such as Marketing Technology (MarTech), attribution models, and Pay-Per-Click (PTC) advertising
• Willingness to travel for meetings with key media partners, agencies, and participation in global events
